The OLF Conference is going virtual for 2020! We are still looking for speakers to present about Free and Open Source Software topics. If you are interested in giving a talk, please submit your proposal by Saturday, October 10. The deadline has been extended to Sunday, October 25. Note that we are already accepting proposals, so the sooner you submit one the more likely it will be selected.
We have scheduled the conference for November 5-7, but have not yet definitively nailed down the exact day(s) and timing. If you have restrictions that only permit you to present on specific days or at specific times, please leave us a note in the “Past Presentations” section of your proposal.
The good news with a virtual conference is that you won’t need to worry about travel—however, this does mean you will need a suitable webcam, microphone, and reliable internet service in order to participate. We will be using Zoom as our videoconferencing solution.
See our CFP page for more details and a link to the form to submit your talk. Please contact us at speakers@ohiolinux.org if you have any questions. We’re looking forward to see what you can come up with!
