The Linux Professional Institute is once again offering the chance for OLF attendees to take exams at a discounted rate. LPI is the global certification standard and career support organization for open source professionals. With more than 600,000 exams delivered, it’s the world’s first and largest vendor-neutral Linux and open source certification body. LPI has certified professionals in over 180 countries, delivers exams in 9 languages, and has hundreds of training partners.
Two sessions are being offered on Saturday, November 2, 2019: 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:30-4:30pm. While at OLF, you can write the Linux Essentials exam for $75 USD, DevOps Tools Engineer for $99 USD or an LPIC exam (101, 102, 201, 202, 300, 303, 304) for $99 USD. You can take up to 2 exams per session. After you have registered as a conference attendee (any level), use the following link to register for exams in advance of the conference.
OLF is also offering an LPI Boot Camp training session covering the LPIC-1 (101 and 102) objectives. This full-day class on Friday, November 1 will help you prepare for the exams.
