The 2023 OLF Conference will be starting in just 12 hours! There’s been a lot of last-minute work, but we’re very excited about the program that will be featured. Here are some late-breaking items for you to be aware of.
Registration has closed for in-person attendance, but we will be accepting walk-ins for the Enthusiast Pass at $20. Payment can be taken by credit card or cash (exact change, please). Registration for the Online Only Pass does remain open.
In a last-minute development, we are pleased to be able to offer a session on Friday covering the LPI Linux Essentials curriculum. Douglas Habian will be showing Shawn Powers’ videos on the topic and answering questions from the audience. While not a full-blown course, it should be useful to those wanting to get their feet wet with Linux, especially in a professional context. It’s open to all in-person registrants.
For those who are planning to drive in for the day, coupons offering $20 valet parking at the Hilton will be available – pick one up at the registration desk and present it when you pick up your car. Note this does not offer overnight parking or in and out privileges.
We are planning to stream sessions on Friday and Saturday. The stability on Friday may be questionable, but we will offer a solid stream of the main stage on Saturday. See the OLF YouTube livestream page for the stream links (they can also be viewed later).
While there are a few great-looking Birds of a Feather sessions lined up, there are a whole bunch of open slots. During the day on Friday, stop by the check-in area and sign up to offer one of your own!
There’s so much going on, you’re sure to find something to grab your interest. Looking forward to seeing you there!
